ZOOB is made up of 5 different pieces inspired by the nucleotides (the basic structural units of nucleic acids) that make up DNA. These pieces snap, click, slide and pop together to form mobile structures that can be moved and played with. Based on the way things connect, move and transform in nature, ZOOB captures dynamic movement, unlike traditional “stacking” or “hub & spoke” construction sets.
The ZOOB building pieces remind us of putting together IKEA furniture. The pieces come together without screws, glue or anything other than another joining piece.
Because these pieces represent the building blocks of how our human body is made up, it shows bubbies how our joints rotate or limbs extends. They learn the human structure without even realizing it.
Playing with ZOOB also exercises visual / spatial relationships, fine motor skills, patience, creativity, and problem solving.
This particular set also comes with a large plastic storage tube.
